Patrimonio de la Terra (Heritage of the Earth)
I recently purchased a book entitled 'Duo Tone: Limited Colour Schemes in Graphic Design' and was inspired by a collection of posters created by Korean Graphic Design Song Ho-Jong. These posters were to raise awareness of protecting nature, and captured the essence of some of Earth's most well known natural sights and phenomenons using primitive shapes two-colour gradients.
Below are two derivative posters depicting natural sights of which I have a personal connection to. The first is Gran Canaria, where I recently spent three months living and working as a part-time English Class Conversation Assistant (auxiliar de conversación). The second is Puerto Rico, where I recently went on holiday to see and spend time with my extended family and enjoy the natural beauty and resources that the enchanted island has to offer.
