This project was developed and completed in December 2020 as part of the Digital Media Design II module for a course in Digital Media Design BA.
The Brief: Students were assigned another student’s research paper from an honours Colloquium module on the topic of sustainability and were to translate the research into a short animation. The goal of the project was to translate the research into an engaging and illuminating animation that explains the research to a wider audience. The animations were to be able to communicate the subject to an informed and uninformed audience and engage viewers with difficult or challenging subject matter.
The Response: I was assigned to use the research of sustainability in Denmark. Using my knowledge and experience from a study abroad trip to Copenhagen in May 2019, I did a kinetic typography motion infographic using the Swiss International and Nordic design styles.
